The Trippenhuis can be reached on foot from NS Station Amsterdam CS; it takes about ten minutes to walk to the Trippenhuis. From NS Station Amsterdam CS and NS Station Amsterdam Amstel you can also reach the Trippenhuis by metro; get off at metro station Nieuwmarkt (exit: Nieuwmarkt). From there it is only 2 minutes walking to the Trippenhuis.
IMPORTANT: The 'OV-chipcard' is new pricing system for the whole Dutch public transport. The card is the only valid payment method in Rotterdam and Amsterdam from the 3th of June. Make sure you have one on! Please visit the official website: www.ov-chipkaart.nl (and choose 'UK') for further information.

If traveling by car: approach Amsterdam via A2 or A4, take ringroad A10, then exit S116 or S112. Parking is available at Parking Stadhuis, entrance Waterlooplein (underground).
